Kansas City Peterbilt, now a part of the Geis Dealer Group, has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1975. Originally established as a local Peterbilt dealership in Kansas City, it was acquired by Leon Geis in 1986. Under the Geis family, the dealership expanded its services to include a variety of commercial vehicle solutions. In 2023, the company underwent a significant rebranding, transitioning from "Kansas City Peterbilt" to Geis Dealer Group, which now encompasses Peterbilt, Utility Trailer, PacLease, and TRP services.
